Review: Banana Boat Sun Protection UVA & UVB- SPF 50

Today I have a  Banana Boat Sun Protection UVA & UVB review for you all that I wanted to do since joining the blogger community.

In the beginning of watching YouTube videos I also got introduce to the very lovely Sunscreen-

I never knew how much damage can sun cause our skin and how much important role sun block play in protecting our skin.

So when I got all the information I ran to my nearest market and grab a Sun screen with the highest SPF that was available. 

For beginning I didn't research before buying this product I didn't know any better really

The Banana Boat Sun Protection UVA & UVB-SPF50 -water resistant' claims to be ; Fragrance Free
                                                                             Aloe Vera and Vitamin E
                                                                               Non-Greasy.

Before starting-Please take this review of mine with the grain of salt as i am only telling my experience with this product if this works for you then
great I wish I could say the same:(

Lets start off with the con as there are alot more of them then the pros ekk....

The very first problem I have with  Banana Boat Sun Protection UVA & UVB is that its not non greasy.

I have oily/acne prone skin and this product make me super oily even if I apply the littlest amount of it .

The first time I applied this product I was a bit generous with it and after the application I looked like greasy ball or I might add a disco ball or a butter stick.
Seeing myself in the mirror like that I got a bit panicky ,washed my face right after the next second.

The second day I tried this product fearfully & carefully ,a pea size amount still gave the same shiny result but a little mild tone.
To combat the shine I applied a Baby powder to my skin and it was all better than before.The powder really muted the shine and I was up and away for 
my routine day at school.

I used this product for a week then the same technique pea size amount of product and baby powder.

But low and behold I started noticing that my skin wasn't feeling good anymore and was getting irritated now which is not very pleasant as we all know
and the I started to break out. And that was it from my side.


Then thirdly this is not fragrance free, and has a very strong sun screen smell to it which i am not a fan of.

Fourth con of this product is that well this might disgust some of you and if this happens with other sunscreen please let me know so i know its not this product 
fault but if it doesnt then it should be totally pointed out.In my Opinion it should so here am I mentioning it.

The Banana Boat Sun Protection UVA & UVB gets clogged up and by clogged up I mean
get around the nozzle and get in this awful gooey consistency and that is even without using it so if you use it of course it will get all over the bottle opening 
and its just not pretty to use. 

You can see in the picture below what I mean to say and this is after 2 month of not using it- I really don't know how it gets all over the place.

So first you have to clean the product that is stuck around the bottle opening and then use it.

Who in the world has time for that...Not me or anyone actually.

Seriously the experience with this Sun Screen has scared me away from using sun block.

But that could be just this one . I have never used any other sun screen so I cant really compare this with anything but truly and honestly if all sunscreen are                                                                              
like this than I am not happy bird at all. 



I still use this from time to time as i don't like wasting my money but as soon as I come home this gets off my face right away.

I do feel bad giving bad review about a product but I needed to share this with you guys....

The only thing I can say good about the Banana Boat product will be -the cute squeezy tube packaging as you don't really waste any product in here and then it protects  from the sun .

Review :Genny High Fashion Cosmetics Nail Polish

Another day another nail polish review from my side but what can I do?

I just love nail polish in general & if I had the money I would have the entire nail color collection at my home and just paint off my nail all the time.

Oh well ...let start with this Nail Polish Review .

Today nail polish is from a brand Genny-High Fashion Cosmetics, I never heard about this brand from any other beauty gurus so why not mention something that is worthy of a notice in my opinion  :)

I bought this nail polish while I was on my hunt for the perfect baby pink/pastel color polish which i found actually & you want you can check out my review on that nail polish right here :

But while I was looking around here and there this glittery fabulous nail color caught my eye. 

I got Genny Nail Polish in the color 510, the nail polish consist of maroon/red,silver glitter in it -which are all of my favorite. 

The opacity of this nail polish is cray cray you guy....you just need 1 coat of this and BAM there you have it million of shinning stars on your nails.

The below picture to be honest doesn't even do justice to the shine and sparkle this nail polish provides.

Its remarkable,I feel like a fairy dust when I have this on my toes and fingers so so pretty to look at. A total attention grabber to be honest.

The time Genny-High Fashion Cosmetics Nail Polish takes to dry is 10 min to the max that is and after that its all set.

The Lasting day -goes to 3 day but if you want to stretch it it can go up to 5 days.

In the daylight

The good thing about the Genny Nail Polish is that the removal process of this polish is quite fast ,compare to other glitter nail polish that I have tried. 

You don't need to scrub away your nails for hours to remove the polish, as we all glitter polish lover knows how much of a hassle it takes to get the glitter off your nails.

And that is about it you guys for this polish.......

Now the question is ...

Would I Recommend Genny-High Fashion Cosmetics Nail Polish to anyone ??? Hell double triple YES...

I truly love this nail polish and am so very interested to try out different colors from this brand also try other products from them too.

THE REVIEW :Labello-Glamorous Gloss Natural & Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm

Labello is the brand that introduced me to the lip balm world .Most of their lip balm I have tried out. Some I love and some Not so much….

Today I will be going to talk about the one that I absolutely love and the one that in my opinion works wonder….:)

Let’s start with the Lip gloss which also works as a excellent lip balm first which inspired me to write this Review.

Labello Glamorous Gloss Natural

My 5 year old niece - got this lip gloss for herself & after she used it for quite some time she got herself a new tube and gave this with me and since then its with me.

The description of this lip gloss is…

Glamorous Natural Gloss gives lips a dazzling, shimmering shine and the gentlest hint of creamy pink for glamorous yet natural lips with an incredibly moisturized, non-sticky finish.

Amount of Product: 8.5 ml

Shelf Life: 12 M

The PROS:

First and foremost I’ll agree with the entire thing listed in the description above, as this product does what is says.

1)     The applicator on this has a slant which makes the product easily & smoothly applied; filling in everything, giving an even application.

2) The formulations is just like jelly without the sticky feeling; your lips feel silky smooth and hydrated/moisturize up to 3-5 hours.

3)      It has a hint of pink and tiny silver & gold flecks in it that you can’t feel on your lips which is a nice.

4)   The slight pink make your lip look healthy and the tiny sparkle which you cant really see but it make your lips

look

 plumper.

5)      For being a 2 in 1 product i.e. lip gloss and a lip moisturizer the price for this is decent.

 THE CONS:

1)   Although I love the applicator on this product ,I don’t appreciate the squeeze tube packaging. I am a person that likes to use my product till the very last drop and this makes me feel that I would waste some of the product that will be left on the sides, which I don’t like.

I’ll cut it the tub open after I have finished the product and then we’ll see if completed the entire product or Not…(will be updating this;) )

Would I repurchase this in future??

Yes, this product is something that you can use in the place of a clear lip gloss that has lots of extra oomph to it and is cheap from other lip gloss- at least the one that I have bought before so it’s a win win.

Labello Vitamin Shake Cranberry &Raspberry

The description on this say:

Cranberry & Raspberry Vitamin Shake is a swirled, subtly tinted balm that leaves lips kissed with a hint of creamy, natural color and an irresistible satin finish for a healthy glow.

Amount of product: 4.8 g/5.5 ml

Shelf Life: 12 M

If you are on a look out for a lip balm with something extra then you should check this one. 

The packaging on this is so pretty and beautiful; I was sucked in very quickly. 

Unique and different.

 At first I was bit hesitant as I was using the 

Labello Lip Balm in Milk and Honey 

and it was doing wonders, I didn't want to change it but at the same time it was getting boring, so I made a mental note to myself that when the Milk and Honey finishes I would try this

Vitamin Shake 

out….and so I did.

The Pro

1)     Cutest packaging ever and product ever!! The design on the lip balm itself is just to die for. It seriously look like a Cranberry and Raspberry milkshake. 

YUM!

2)      The smell- if you know Fruit-Tella -the -Strawberry flavor, this is the exactly the same smell (fruity and sweet) which makes me love this even more. It’s like Fruit-Tella in a lip balm.

3)      It moisturize…..Yahhhhhh…..it’s fancy yet keep the lip hydrated and add a beautiful color to you lips- making them look plump and healthy.

4) If you are someone who is not in to lipstick and is looking for something that add a hint of color then this is good for you. 

On days when sometimes I don’t want to reach to my lipsticks I just outline my lips with a color that is close to my lips and swipe this on and its looks beautiful-very natural.

5)    Has SPF 10.

6)  Contains- Vitamins E,C and Pro B5-if they say so...

7)     You get good amount of product and lasts for quite some time for a decent price-

I have been using mine since 6 months and still remains.

Cons

1)      Hmmm.... the smell might put you off if you are not a fan of fruity scents.

2) It’s so soft and creamy it can melt -in summer ,if you leave it in a hot place.

Other than that it’s a pretty nice product and does its job great.

Would I repurchase this in future??

Yes Yes Yes!

 No doubt!

 It’s cute, fun and does the job nicely.

Nail of the Week & Review -Golden Rose PARIS NAIL LACQUER/ POLISH

First of all guys I am so sorry for being gone -well almost 10 more day to go and 1 month complete….i am so sad …:( I was occupied with my dad work that I couldn’t take time out for my blog…but hopefully now I am back and will be posting more frequently….:)

So let’s begin with the :

Nail of the Week:

        I have seen so many people do these and I adore nail polish so why not pop these in here.

This week I was wanting something chic looking on my nails…and I saw 

“Golden Rose PARIS NAIL LACQUER”  in beige #12 

sitting on my desk…. and it was staring right at me SO why not…...... I got this nail polish from my home country for PKR 125-130 and was not aware of this brand so I was very much nervous but interested to try out.

This is a very beigy nude pinky color close like the one used for the French manicure ,but in two coat you get this opaque beige polished nail look.

At the first coat you won’t see a major difference …it come out as a very natural coat of beige but very pretty 

First Coat:)

I wanted much more opacity so I applied a second coat and 

was

 impressed.

Second Coat

A very true to its color and most of the time I don’t see that with light colors.

I was a Happy Bird for this week :)

 I don’t know how I didn’t use this nail polish before: 0

Sometimes you can see the nail line but that is not always… its not obvious or irritating. 

Secondly I will say that it can become a bit streaky if you are not careful but that what’s almost all the light color tend to do (or what I have experienced with most of my light colored nail polishes), but when applied correctly its applies beautifully,as you can see there is no crazy streak party on the nail.

Lasting day…..It lasted for almost 3 days…..you could stretch it out till 5 days.

Drying time….1rst coat took 5 mins

2^nd coat -10 mins

Total Drying time  20min……and then its smudge proof…:)

And opps I almost forget…..

This is what the brush looks like 

nothing to special as I like my brushes to be on the thicker side …

but as this get the job done I have no issues.

Would I Recommend it…….YES.
